About Me
My name is Kirsten Mintun and I am 21! I am from Stockton, California, but I now live in Greenville, South Carolina where I attend the beauteous Furman University. I am on schedule to graduate in May 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Studies.
I sing in Furman’s Women’s Chorale and hold Furman’s Panhellenic Council position VP Membership. I am a proud sorority woman and love my sorority sisters who have made Furman home for me.
About Travel Bug for the Rooted
My mom has always told my I have the “travel bug”. I have been to more than 10 countries and I cannot wait to go to more! However, I am unable to travel until after graduation next May. I am creating this blog to help strengthen my Global Citizenship from the comfort of my apartment and sadly without the travel I crave.
My hope is to educate and motivate likeminded young adults to take their Global Citizenship to the next level without having to pay for expensive trips or take off time from school or work.
